Don’t Go in There Alone! – The Journey of the Swiss Cloud
Switch, the Swiss Research and Education Network has been delivering IT services since 1987. In the last few years we have rebuilt our strategy for cloud services delivery to our community and we would like to share our experiences about the journey.
We will look at how we meet the data and infrastructure sovereignty requirements of our users while addressing operational and organisational scaling challenges. Our story weaves together diverse themes of strategy, why Swiss clouds are important, how we learned to not solve every problem by ourselves, and where we are going from there.
